Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform all required work in a safe manner. Demonstrate the ability to be self-sufficient and able to pivot from task to task. Demonstrate the ability for repeated jib crane usage and aptitude for grinding, buffing, and polishing with various equipment (angle grinder, buffing wheel, Dremel, air drill, etc.). Show the ability to manually vibropeen metal marking as well as operating a more automated computer for dotpeening metal marking. 6S standards of organization and cleanliness will be expected.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Forklift movement for all parts within the department.
o Including staging parts for inspection areas (CMM, UT, Hand Inspection, etc.)
o Refueling of all forklifts in the area.
* Jib crane usage to sort and unbox all parts and shipments.
* Grind, buff, and polish work for all rework, grainsize, etch overchecks, etc.
* Applying a marking to parts by vibropeen, dotpeen, or steel stamping.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
* Proficiency in basic mechanical tasks and equipment operation.
* Attention to detail in verifying and documenting operational processes.
* Strong communication skills to report abnormalities and collaborate effectively.
* Capability to perform physical tasks involving standing, reaching, and lifting.
* Capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment while maintaining safety standards.
* Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
EDUCATION:
* High school diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE:
* Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
WORK CONDITIONS:
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle jib cranes.
* The employee is occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
* The employee must regularly lift and/or move no more than 35 pounds.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
* Employees regularly work near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles.
* The Employee frequently works in outside-weather conditions.
* The Employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold, heat or vibration.

HOURS: Hours: Must be able to work any shift. 1st 6am-2pm, 2nd 2pm-10pm, 3rd 10pm-6am
