As a Security Officer - Access Control in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and maintain accurate access logs. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents while providing clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a food and beverage manufacturing and/or distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entrances, gates, and receiving areas by checking identification, issuing temporary credentials, managing visitor logs, and directing deliveries and pickups to designated areas.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, and alarm panels as assigned, and report irregular activity or system issues per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating to site leadership and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production-adjacent areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify conditions that need attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
