PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Effectively work as a member of a team through open communication, being eager to help team members and willingness to ask for help or clarification when needed 2.Evaluate potential research subjects' study eligibility using the electronic medical record, patient phone calls or interviews. 3.Understand research study protocols to a proficiency of answering basic research subject questions 4.Recruit potential research subjects during their scheduled clinical visits 5.Facilitate research subjects' understanding of research studies, such as goals of the research, risks and benefits, as well as study visit schedules and procedures 6.Maintain clinical trial study visit schedules and coordinate required procedures as laid out in the study protocol (i.e., perform electrocardiograms, schedule echocardiograms, cardiopulmonary exercise tests, and order blood sample collection) 7.Build trusted, professional relationships with research subjects and be comfortable liaising between the research subjects and physicians 8.Collect and maintain research subjects' data in a manner aligned with Good Clinical Practice and data integrity standards, in an organized and legible manner 9.Communicate effectively with internal and external groups using email, phone, or other permitted forms of communication 10.Maintain inventory and order study supplies when necessary Education The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
