Position Title: Engineering Technician

Wage: Based on Experience

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Engineering Technician to support engineering and product development activities related to powersports equipment. This role is a balanced blend of mechanical hands-on work (approximately 65%) and technical/engineering support (approximately 35%).

The ideal candidate enjoys working directly on machines, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and collaborating with engineers using drawings, prints, and data to solve problems and improve designs.

Engineering Technician Responsibilities:

- Perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, modification and repair of powersports equipment

- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support root cause investigations

- Support prototype builds, testing and validation activities

- Operate tools and shop equipment while maintaining an organized work area

- Work with CAD drawings and engineering prints

- Support engineering work requests and documentation

- Assist engineers with problem solving, data collection and design feedback

- Create and update basic documentation, presentations and reports

- Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data tracking and communication

- Communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing and cross-functional teams

Qualifications for Engineering Technician:

- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on wrenching experience

- Solid understanding of mechanical function of machines and equipment

- Good soft skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally

- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel

- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering prints

- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

- Experience with fabrication (welding, cutting, machining, or similar) preferred

- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics preferred

- Familiarity with CAD software (viewing and basic interaction) preferred

- Prior experience in powersports, automotive, or off-road equipment preferred
