Position Title: HR Generalist
Wage: Based on Experience We are partnering with a strong manufacturing company in Appleton, WI to staff an HR Generalist position. Reporting to the HR Manager, this position will oversee recruitment and talent management, employee relations, compliance, compensation, and benefits administration. This is a full-time, direct hire, fully onsite role with 8am to 4:30pm M-F work hours with limited travel to other locations as needed. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated HR professional who seeks to advance into an HR Manager position in the next two years. HR Generalist Responsibilities: - Manage full cycle recruitment and talent management - Support employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice - Ensure compliance with multi-state employment laws and HR policies, with guidance from the HR Manager - Serve as the primary HR contact for employee inquiries, investigations, and performance management support - Coach managers on corrective actions, development plans, and employee relations matters - Coordinate training and development initiatives and support team member growth - Lead and support annual performance, development, and compensation review cycles - Champion employee engagement surveys, stay interviews, and action planning - Assist in maintaining and updating employee handbooks - Maintain accurate employee records - Support benefits enrollment and employee benefit administration - Administer COBRA and assist with retirement plan administration - Oversee hourly payroll processes, pay changes, and timesheet accuracy - Process terminations and conduct exit interviews - Manage workers' compensation cases and maintain OSHA reporting Qualifications for HR Generalist: - Associate degree in Human Resources or related field; Bachelor degree in human resources preferred - 5+ years of progressive HR experience, manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred - Proficiency with HRIS software and applicant tracking systems - Strong working knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO) - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills - High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information IND345 | |
