Application Window Open date: February 3, 2026 Next review date: Friday, Mar 6, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Mar 6, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Master of Quantum Science and Technology (MQST) Program in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at UCLA seeks applications for a lecturer position in the area of Quantum Networking and Satellite Communication in the Spring 2026 quarter. Responsibilities will include lecturing, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, writing and grading exams and problem sets, and optionally supervising teaching assistants. Lecturer appointments are established according to the instructional needs of the department. Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. in physics or a related field and have prior experience in teaching upper division or graduate science or engineering courses at the college level. Candidates should provide a curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching philosophy (ca. 1 page), and complete a reference check authorization release form.
