Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

This role is part of the General Bank Credit Operations organization and is primarily focused on General Bank loan origination systems applications including BOSS, TAP, Appro, and other related applications. This position supports initiatives within the Bank that improve enterprise data quality, governance, and analytics. Drives positive change across the Bank through technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives. Creates and maintains technical documentation related to enterprise data. Provides expert consultation to team members, the Information Technology department, and other stakeholders on tactics that achieve data management goals.


Responsibilities

  • Business Support - Supports various business units in data mapping and validations for reporting, business case validation, and audit support. Enforces data policies and procedures across the enterprise. Completes regular validations on reporting data to ensure the quality and completeness of data prior to business use.
  • Data Enhancement - Identifies and implements enhancements for the quality, management, and storage of enterprise data. Executes initiatives that improve profiling, exception reporting, and issue resolution. Builds dashboards to modernize analytics where appropriate.
  • Business Tactics - Facilitates initiatives that develop the Bank's data management capabilities. Assists management in creating and implementing business plans to achieve planned objectives. Maintains a strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies or trends impacting the financial service industry.
  • Documentation - Creates and maintains technical documentation for data sources, which includes source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and other related materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Data Management, Financial Analysis, or similar OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Data Management, Financial Analysis, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced skills with MS Excel
  • Ability to pull and analyze data using SQL, Python, and/or other similar languages
  • Familiarity with General Bank loan origination systems including BOSS, Appro, etc.

The base pay for this position is generally between $120,000 and $135,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
