As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Access Monitor in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced food and beverage location where you will support access control at entrances, production areas, and shipping and receiving. You will monitor activity, verify credentials, manage visitor and vendor check-ins, and complete routine patrols and reports using a computer or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification, verifying credentials, issuing and collecting badges, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and directing traffic to designated locations.
• Support a food and beverage location by screening inbound and outbound deliveries, coordinating with receiving and shipping, and reporting irregularities such as damaged seals, unauthorized pickups, and/or restricted items.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, notifying site contacts as needed, and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations, while observing and reporting unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
