Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Summit Point, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced motorsports location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine mobile patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver clear, professional customer service. Pre-Employment Requirements:

21+ Years of Age
• 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience

• Valid Driver's License with a least 1 year of driving experience

• Armed DCJS or Equivalent Firearms Certification is REQUIRED

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Carry an approved firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies, applicable licensing requirements and required training standards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and support vehicle and/or pedestrian flow during peak activity periods, verifying authorization as required and documenting security-related events and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
