Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer on an unarmed patrol post at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies and/or supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones at an aero and defense location, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Support access control activities such as monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor check-in processes, and directing individuals to the appropriate areas.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity documentation, communicating key information to the Allied Universal leadership team and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• A CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
