Overview:

The Senior Email Marketing Manager will lead the execution, optimization, and performance tracking of email campaigns across customer and partner audiences. This role will serve as a strategic and analytical leader, driving A/B testing, reporting, and collaboration across campaign marketers, content creators, and marketing operations to ensure data-driven improvements and scalable communication programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the central email campaign calendar and planning cycles.

  • Develop and implement A/B testing frameworks to optimize campaign performance.

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor engagement, conversion, and deliverability.

  • Analyze campaign performance trends and provide actionable insights to cross-functional teams.

  • Direct campaign marketers and content teams to make data-informed updates.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Ops and IT to ensure database health and data quality.

  • Support the rollout and evolution of modular email templates and reusable content blocks.

  • Ensure quality assurance and testing standards are upheld across all email communications.

  • Contribute to the development of lifecycle communication programs (onboarding, nurturing, renewal, etc.)..

  • Align email strategy with broader marketing goals and customer engagement frameworks

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in email marketing, or customer lifecycle marketing.

  • Proven ability to lead A/B testing and campaign optimization initiatives.

  • Strong analytical skills; experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, GA4, Marketo).

  • Experience building and interpreting performance dashboards and reports.

  • Familiarity with email platforms, including Marketo and Salesloft.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence content and campaign teams.

  • Deep understanding of segmentation, contact strategy, and lifecycle programs.

  • Strong project management and prioritization skills in a matrixed environment.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with data governance, deliverability, and email compliance best practices

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; or high school diploma + relevant experience

    .

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with marketing automation and personalization tools.

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email formatting and troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping and behavioral targeting.

  • Exposure to B2B and partner communication strategies.
