Description JOB SUMMARY: MCSG is seeking an experienced Procurement and Contracts Specialist to execute procurement and contract administration activities in support of Department of Defense (DoD), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and related contracts and subcontracts. This role ensures contracts and purchase orders are properly negotiated, executed, and managed while maintaining full compliance with federal acquisition regulations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross functional teams, vendors, and suppliers to promote efficiency, transparency, and accountability across purchasing operations. Location: This position is fully on site at either the Corporate Office in Oklahoma City (1 East Sheridan Avenue) or the Satellite Office in Colorado Springs (5575 Tech Center Drive). Remote or hybrid work options are not available. Primary Duties: * Lead sourcing, negotiation, and administration of purchase orders and subcontracts. Requirements:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 7 to 10 years of experience in procurement or acquisitions. Minimum of two years supporting DoD programs or projects, including GSA and SEWP. At least two years managing contract types such as Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials, and Cost Reimbursable. Minimum of one year of experience using FPDS NG, EDA, and AF Data Services. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, negotiate favorable terms, and produce accurate documentation. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School Diploma. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. SECURITY CLEARANCE: No security clearance required. Ability to obtain a clearance may be preferred based on contract requirements.
