General Description of the Job Class

Contribute to the achievement of the DCI Strategy, Growth and Operations mission through the development and leadership of performance improvement activities in the strategic, operational and/or clinical arenas. Monitor activities and the design and implementation of strategies to enhance growth strategies and oncology operations across the system.



Duties and Responsibilities of this Level


  • Plan activities aimed at improving DCI performance in operations or quality.
  • Serve as a project manager for interdisciplinary teams.
  • Identify opportunities for improved performance and bring together key stakeholders to work through process improvement initiative.
  • Use Tableau dashboards to Analyze data to identify adverse trends and/or undesirable performance.
  • Determine additional data needs and work with DCI IT to implement.
  • Produce reports and presentations on performance improvement related to DCI Access Operations.
  • Establish performance targets for DCI Strategy, Growth and Operations across health system.
  • Utilize performance improvement techniques and methodologies
  • Design and implement strategies for enhancing performance within new patient access and desk operations.
  • Develop, maintains and enhances knowledge through orientation, self- evaluation and professional development.
  • Responsibilities may include varying levels of strategic planning and human and fiscal resource management.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.



Minimum Qualifications

Education

Bachelors degree in a business or health-related field is required.



Experience

Minimum of 5 years work experience, including 3 years of experience with significant responsibility for performance/ process improvement. Experience leading work teams required.

Experience can be supplemented with a Master's degree, with a Master's being equivalent to two years of experience.

Preferred project management experience. Hospital operations experience.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate with customers/staff with diverse educational backgrounds. Analysis of data and processes for opportunities for improvement. Ability to manage numerous diverse projects simultaneously through effective priority setting, efficient use oftime, and organization. Knowledge of accreditation standards andregulations related to health care. Attention to detail and accuracy. Computer literacy
