The PACCAR Summer Internship Program provides hands-on experience collaborating with the Global Engine Team while learning about PACCAR's worldclass truck brands-Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF.As a PACCAR intern, you will: Participate in team meetings, technical reviews, and department-wide activities. Contribute to meaningful, impact-driven projects supporting PACCAR Powertrain's OBD technology. Build your professional network across engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams. JobResponsibilities Execute established engine test cases and develop clear, detailed technical reports documenting test results Contribute to continuous-improvement efforts by updating and refining vehicle testing procedures Conduct engine test-cell evaluations to validate new engine software ensuring transparent functionality and performance transparency Provide hands-on support for engine instrumentation setup and troubleshooting, while identifying and recommending process improvements Perform in-vehicle engine verification testing to assess how key performance characteristics influence customerdrive-ability Qualifications Required: Junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree (graduation 2026-2027) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Software, Computer), Science, or a related STEM discipline; OR currently enrolled in a Master's program. Foundational understanding of mechanics of materials and fluid dynamics.
