Job Summary

Job Description

Machine Operation sets up and operates a variety of Lathes while needing little or no assistance from Lead Operator to machine metal parts to exacting tolerances and dimensions.
Responsibilities & Duties
* Must be able to keep machines set up and running.
* Read blueprints and follow work orders. Responsible for quality of work.
* May be required to run CNC mills or manual machinery.
* May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* 0-2 years of relevant experience
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Typically requires completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and or experience.
