ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
PLYMOUTH, IN WAREHOUSE

As a member of the Finance Team, the Accounting Specialist will be responsible for clerical and accounting duties within the finance department where the procedures and methods are routine in nature. This individual will also be responsible to interpret and process documentation, maintain ledgers, and prepare financial and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:



  • Perform Routine Duties requiring use of a variety of Practices and Procedures in general accounting, Accounts Receivable and Payable and Payroll
  • Create Journal Entries for Misc. Cash, Property Tax, Prepaids, Salary Bonus, Fixed Assets, Depreciation, and Intercompany Payments and receipts.
  • Do monthly reconciliations of all Accounts as assigned.
  • Prepare consolidated Netting Report
  • Prepare and verify Payroll for Hourly employees weekly in Kronos.
  • Provide support for Physical Inventory.
  • Prepare and Champion Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and submission.
  • Prepare annual User Reviews.
  • Book all charges from Corporate to the General Ledger at month end
  • Prepare and maintain standard product pricing.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma/GED Required, Associates Degree in Accounting or Bachelors, preferred.
  • 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office 360.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.



Bonus If You Have:



  • Experience with QAD software
  • Experience with PeopleSoft system
  • Experience using Kronos.
