What You'll Do:

  • Observe and practice all safety procedures and establish a strong safety culture.
  • Participate in daily morning safety startup meeting.
  • Receive and unload trucks during harvest.
  • Monitor seed conditions by checking moisture and temperature levels weekly.
  • Obtain bin samples and monitor for insects monthly.
  • Run fans to dry or cool down seed in storage bins as needed.
  • Haul seed to processing plant for manufacturing.
  • Clean all equipment including grain trucks, belts and augers between varieties to maintain purity.
  • Maintain all equipment in a safe operable condition.
  • Maintain the bulk yards free of weeds and debris.
  • Assist in other areas of facility as needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, experience in lieu may be considered.
  • 1+ years of forklift experience required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willing to obtain CDL.
  • Physically able to move unloading and loading equipment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Flexible hours and overtime are required.
