Description

Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day to day work routine for self and others. Responsible for the daily oversight, direction and schedule of work of the Design Drafters. Establishes and maintains appropriate communications with Engineering staff to ensure work is completed within established timelines. Creates and maintains drafting standards as required.







MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • A working knowledge of drafting concepts at a level normally acquired through the completion of a four -year degree in drafting or a related drafting field or equivalent related work experience; and.
  • Seven years of related drafting and/or CAD experience.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
  • Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Requires travel within service territory: Minimal (up to 10%).



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Working experience in the natural gas industry.
  • 3D drafting software experience.
  • Previous industry drafting experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Supervises design drafting staff and manages the daily work responsibilities to assure priorities, workflow, and timelines are established and accomplished.
  • Develops, implements and maintains drafting standards.
  • Reviews work of drafting staff to assure compliance with company drafting standards.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationship with the engineers, appropriate district personnel and management.
  • Responsible for quality control within the department.
  • Performs other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned.



Offers made between: $$84,460 - $105,570
