Currently recruiting a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support operational execution of a government medical coding program. The DPM serves as second-in-command and leads daily production operations across contractor and subcontractor teams. This position is fully remote.

DUTIES OF THE DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER:

  • Lead daily medical coding operations.
  • Direct workload balancing and distribution.
  • Rebalance work across DHNs to manage backlogs and shifting priorities.
  • Monitor enterprise performance dashboards.
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Direct queue routing and productivity feedback.
  • Support Team Leads in daily supervision.
  • Maintain workforce accountability and productivity.
  • Optimize distribution of contractor and subcontractor resources.
  • Serve as alternate to the PM.
  • Support reporting, analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Maintain continuity during surge or PM absence.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER:

  • 3+ years leadership experience in medical coding or health information management.
  • Expertise in production coding, quality oversight, and corrective action.
  • Experience managing dispersed remote teams.
  • Eligible for CAC issuance.
  • Experience with DoD, DHA, VA, or federal healthcare programs. (preferred)
  • Familiarity with DHA standards and MHS metrics.
  • Certifications: RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (for access to Government computer systems)
