Currently recruiting a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support operational execution of a government medical coding program. The DPM serves as second-in-command and leads daily production operations across contractor and subcontractor teams. This position is fully remote. DUTIES OF THE DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER: Lead daily medical coding operations. Direct workload balancing and distribution. Rebalance work across DHNs to manage backlogs and shifting priorities. Monitor enterprise performance dashboards. Identify risks and implement corrective actions. Direct queue routing and productivity feedback. Support Team Leads in daily supervision. Maintain workforce accountability and productivity. Optimize distribution of contractor and subcontractor resources. Serve as alternate to the PM. Support reporting, analysis, and corrective action planning. Maintain continuity during surge or PM absence. QUALIFICATIONS OF THE DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER: 3+ years leadership experience in medical coding or health information management. Expertise in production coding, quality oversight, and corrective action. Experience managing dispersed remote teams. Eligible for CAC issuance. Experience with DoD, DHA, VA, or federal healthcare programs. (preferred) Familiarity with DHA standards and MHS metrics. Certifications: RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS.
