Responsibilities

  • Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories.
  • Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity.
  • Performs an assortment of complex engineering duties such as the planning of manufacturing and the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical apparatus.
  • Provides existing support to activities in the use of electrical devices and energy for commercial, domestic, and industrial use.
  • Design and develop electronics and circuits.
  • Perform product testing and create models and prototypes.
  • Develop and document electronic schematics for products.
  • Performs a variety of engineering work in designing, planning and overseeing manufacture, construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of electric or electronic components, equipment, systems, facilities, and machinery used in generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization of electrical energy for domestic, commercial, and industrial consumption.
  • Works directly with engineers in other disciplines to augment production size and value.
  • May provide work leadership and training to lower level professional and technical staff. May act as internal consultant providing technical guidance on most complex projects.
  • Provide electrical engineering and electromagnetic fields technical support for a fast-paced, hypersonic research and development effort.
  • You will have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art electromagnetic signal and signature simulation tools for analysis of electromagnetic effects and circuit electronic effects.

Qualifications

  • BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS 8-10
  • Must possess and have the ability to maintain an active Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Experience with a programming language such as Python, MatLab, or C++
  • Ability to create unique code-to-code interfaces along with post processing routines for model response analyses

Equal Pay Act

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
