LFS, Inc. was established in 1967 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Trident Seafoods. Our corporate headquarters is in Bellingham, WA and we have three year-round locations in Washington State: Bellingham, Seattle, and Poulsbo. LFS also has five year-round locations in Alaska: Anchorage, Cordova, Dutch Harbor, Homer (Kachemak Gear Shed), and Sitka; and two seasonal locations in Dillingham and Naknek. While our core business is supplying the commercial fishing industry, we have evolved to include industrial and sports netting sales, hydraulic sales and services, wholesale/industrial sales, recreational marine and outdoor sales, and internet sales.

Summary:

Assists the Location Manager in day-to-day operations of LFS seasonal location.

Essential functions (responsibilities, tasks, supervisory needs)

  • Lead the day-to-day duties of the warehouse.
  • Hands on responsibility for receiving, stocking, and pulling products for customers and production workers.
  • Organize products in warehouse to create efficient flow of products.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Investigate and reconcile any discrepancies that are discovered.
  • Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

Housing and transportation are provided.

This is a seasonal position; approximate dates are 04/01/26-08/31/26

Minimum Requirements

Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Forklift certified

Preferred education and experience

  • Previous experience working at similar warehouse remote location.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision and depth perception.
