ITA is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the team at ITA HQ, Newport News, VA.

- Serving as a part of agile development teams,delivers an end-to-end data pipeline automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment for existing Navy Customer;

- Lead architecture design and development for data pipeline;

- Collaborating with 3rd party vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution;

- Provides support for compliance and continuous improvement for software development and software policies and procedures (e.g. CMMC, secure software, etc.)

- Lead Dashboard Design activities

- Contribute to the development complex ML & data science based scripts, and/or templates, and dashboard
- Contributing to the design of information and operational support systems;
- Providing assistance with Enterprise Application Development

Required Experience:

-Bachelor's degree plus 3 to 10 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.
-Preferred degree in Computer Science (CS) or Software Engineering. Related fields (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science)

-Relevant experience includes at minimum, a concentration of courses in the following foundational CS areas: operational code; algorithms; computer architecture ; programming methodologies and languages; data structures; logic and computation; and advanced mathematics (for example, advanced statistics, calculus, discrete mathematics).

- Experience with production code and complex pipeline/architecture

- Experience in Databases (e.g. SQL, Oracle, etc.)

- Experience in Python development

-Secret Clearance ability to Obtain and Maintain

-Desired KSAs/experience:
- Knowledge of software engineering and architecture, including data science related

- Demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, and engineering practices;
- Experience in Microsoft PowerBI
- Ability to work in an open team environment;
- Security first mindset;
- Strong verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
