Job Description The Payroll Analyst is responsible for independently completing core payroll processing procedures while also assisting periodic payroll tax filings, audits, system testing, and addressing employee inquiries.In Human Resources at Blue Cross NC, we are committed to putting People First. In your role as a Payroll Analyst, you will display practical knowledge and application of concepts of payroll principles, operational processes, and procedures in a Shared Service Delivery environment. The ideal candidate for this position possesses deep knowledge of federal / state / local payroll requirements, tax, SOX, and accounting for payroll operational activities. You will also need to display the demonstrated ability to review, analyze and interpret data, identify errors, and prepare reports for Payroll Operations, Accounting, Tax, and SOX Processes.
