Air Traffic Training Specialist

Location: Bethesda, MD

Peraton is looking for an Air Traffic Training Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of training delivered under the BNATCS program. In this role, you'll serve as a key liaison between vendors and the customer, helping ensure training solutions align with system requirements and support safe, reliable air traffic operations.

What You'll Do

    Observe and evaluate vendor-led training sessions to assess quality, completeness, and adherence to requirements

  • Review vendor training materials and documentation as part of the overall program documentation review process

  • Verify the accuracy, currency, and synchronization of training materials with hardware and software baseline requirements specific to each vendor's implementation

  • Track training completion status across sites and incorporate results into monthly program reports

  • Identify, document, and report training quality or completeness issues to the customer and support vendor follow-up and resolution

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

  • 12+ years of experience as a Training Specialist, with expertise in training program design and delivery, learning needs assessment, curriculum and instructional design, and employee skill development

  • Proven experience facilitating in-person and virtual training, vendor management, program administration, and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Strong background in training evaluation, performance metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement

  • Demonstrated skills in coaching and mentoring, organizational development, project management, and stakeholder engagement

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills

  • Bachelor's degree or an additional four years of relevant experience

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
