Responsibilities Updates andmaintainsemployee payroll information, including changes to wages, tax withholdings, or personal information. Assistswith state and federal tax filings. Provides datareleventto union reporting. Maintains master payroll records and direct deposit files. Answers employee questions about paychecks, deductions, or time-off accruals. Resolves issues like overpayments, underpayments, or tax withholding errors. Ensures payroll practicescomply withfederal, state, and local laws, which may involve staying current on regulations. Performs other duties asassigned.
