Position Summary
The Department of Urology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a General Urologist to join our nationally recognized academic program known for our excellence in patient care, education, and innovative research. As a General Urologist, you will join a team that treats even the most complex urologic conditions through comprehensive, multidisciplinary programs. In this role, you will collaborate with specialists across urologic oncology, robotics, stone disease, reconstructive urology, and men's health as part of a growing department committed to innovation and exceptional care. Join the UNC Department of Urology as we continue to expand our clinical, research, and educational efforts, supporting our mission to improve the health and well being of North Carolinians.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
MD, DO, or equivalent. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine within the state of North Carolina.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
The successful candidate should be willing to participate in clinical practice and in teaching as they will serve in the training and education of fellows, residents, and medical students in the department. Fellowship training/subspecialty practice expertise in men's health preferred but not required.
