Responsibilities

The Commercial Loan Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing commercial loan origination, leading a team of Commercial Loan Officers, and representing Grow Financial within the community. Accountable for achieving commercial real estate lending, deposit, and ancillary product goals. Provides operational, credit, and sales leadership, and oversees the origination, processing, and ongoing relationship management of commercial loans. Maintains individual production goals while actively engaging in business development and community networking to drive growth for the Business Solutions team. Collaborates with members, internal partners (including credit administration, operations, quality control, and compliance), and external vendors to achieve departmental objectives. Works closely with the VP of Commercial Solutions to align with strategic priorities and accelerate growth of the commercial portfolio.



Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from an accredited university is required.
  • 5 years related experience in commercial lending and sales required.
  • 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, using proper grammar and spelling while conveying thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Good understanding of secondary market guidelines to include automated underwriting.
  • Proficient mathematical skills, with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex tax returns, including corporate, partnerships and sub-s corporations.
  • Effective leadership and negotiation skills with ability to adapt to change within working responsibilities, be it internal, market, or regulatory driven.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
  • Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
  • Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.

Work Environment

  • This is a remote role with the flexibility to work remote and report to Grow Headquarters and/or retail locations.
  • Must live local to Tampa Bay.
