Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:


Education:



  • Master's degree or higher in a generally recognized clinical discipline. (Behavioral health, psychology, counseling)
  • Preferred to be registered, licensed, or certified to practice-if applicable. Would need to obtain license or certification within 2 years of hire.
  • Valid Dtiver's license and clean driving record


Work Experience:



  • 2 years of mental health paid or unpaid experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system.
  • MAT/MMT experience needed
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred


You will work onsite at our 4th Street location Monday-Friday: 6:30 am to 2:30 PM in the full-time position.





Description
Lead and inspire a team of clinicians at our Recovery Program at 1745 N. 4th Street in Philadelphia as a Clinical Supervisor!


In this role, you'll drive staff development, ensure program consistency, and support evidencebased care-while overseeing hiring, supervision, and key administrative processes that keep services running at the highest standard.



The Clinical Supervisor:



  • Leads a team of up to 9 people, comprised of counselors and therapists.
  • Interviews, hires, trains, and supports a level of staffing to meet program needs; and coaches supervisors to interview for their staff
  • Develops and enhances employee competence and effectiveness by providing on-going guidance, mentoring, feedback, and motivation to staff adhering to department and Merakey policies and procedures.
  • Delivers annual performance evaluations, promotions, and terminations as necessary.
  • Leads process involving collective bargaining unit agreement with regard to terminations, willful misconduct, and higher-level violations to ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to consistently, per guidelines.
  • Holds supervisors accountable for collective bargaining unit fact finding and grievance process for lower-level violations such as attendance and performance.
  • In absence of a supervisor, accountable for fact finding and grievances for lower-level violations such as attendance and performance.
  • Teaches, communicates, and demonstrates behavior in support of Merakey Core Values.
  • Develops and demonstrates collaborative work environment in support Merakey Core Values.
  • Reconcile and approve timecards of assigned staff. Program Administration
  • Provide weekly supervision and bi-weekly team meetings and work on professional development with assigned staff.
  • Provide weekly individual and group licensure supervision of assigned staff with ability
  • Attend internal and external meetings as assigned
  • Assist with the development of Evidenced Based Practices
  • Assist with assigned tasks such as: Incident Reporting submissions, Case Consults, Termination reviews, and Internal and External complaints
  • Mange as a case load as needed to support your team
