We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Financial Reporting team. In this critical role, you will lead the squad that is building and launching cutting-edge AI/ML powered features that are revolutionizing financial reporting and compliance on the Workiva platform.

You will work closely with design, engineering, data science, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to discover and deliver innovative solutions that our customers love and that work for the business.

What You'll Do
  • Work with customers to deeply understand their pain and the job they need to do in order to be the voice of the customer within the product discovery and development process.

  • Partner closely with your Engineering and UX counterparts to discover the problem to be solved and then iterate on the solution through the use of rapid experimentation and right sized prototypes (build, measure, learn).

  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineering and data science teams to translate complex AI models and algorithms into intuitive, scalable, and performant product experiences.

  • Engage deeply with engineering teams, understanding the technical complexities and trade-offs involved in building enterprise-grade AI solutions

  • Serve as the bridge between business needs and technical execution, possessing a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, and scalable system architectures.

  • Get your hands dirty - doing any job on the team necessary to build and ship a successful product.

  • Work with Engineering to plan and build your product, including identifying and planning to mitigate risks and creating an MVP hypothesis.

  • Work with QA, marketing, sales, support and research to ensure your product can be successfully tested, positioned, sold, supported and continually enhanced.

  • Managing stakeholder relationships, keeping them informed about all aspects of your product through direct conversations, roadmaps, feature briefs, slide decks, etc

  • Measure and communicate your product outcomes.

  • Work with leadership to align your product vision and strategy to company objectives.

What You'll Need

Minimum qualifications

  • Min 6 years of related experience in a product management role in software or related area.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field; an advanced degree may be considered in lieu of professional experience.

  • Experience managing product lifecycles from ideation through launch and iteration in an Agile development environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • 2 or more years specifically focused on AI/ML products or features within a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, methodologies, and their practical applications in enterprise contexts (e.g., natural language processing, predictive analytics, generative AI, agentic workflows).

  • Experience in accounting, finance or other regulatory domains.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Travel Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for team and corporate meetings, fostering relationships and representing company interests.

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, as we embrace flexible work arrangements.

How You'll Be Rewarded

Salary range in the US: $129,000.00 - $207,000.00

A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
