This position requires up to 5% travel throughout the state of Texas, ongoing weekend and evening work to support course implementation, including during summer, spring, and fall professional learning institutes and annual enrollment. This is a hybrid position based in Austin.

Purpose

Lead the planning and execution of high-quality end-to-end professional learning and development experiences for OnRamps Instructors to support student success.

Responsibilities
  • Leads OnRamps course staff to implement quality Professional Learning Institutes, Summer, Fall, and Spring for OnRamps Instructors aligned to OnRamps Four Pillars. Works with course staff to go through the design, process utilizing data, to support OnRamps Instructors, and improve student success.
  • Leads, coordinates and monitors the facilitated network of OnRamps Instructors to provide intervention, system-level support, including the recruitment and onboarding of mentor Instructors and mentor program. Leads the systems for virtual conferences including hiring and managing virtual conference facilitators, instructor registration, attendance, quality virtual conferences, that guides Instructors in their implementation of OnRamps courses and grows the facilitated network.
  • Leads the Instructor induction process and resources on an annual basis, utilizing a continuous improvement process and staying current.
  • Utilizes evaluation methods on OnRamps professional learning to ensure OnRamps is meeting the needs of the stake holders in service to students and instructors. Prepares and deliver program reports and presentations for internal and external audiences. Stay current in professional learning and best practices in synchronous and asynchronous adult learning to lead OnRamps course staff.
  • Supervises full-time staff in implementing systems needed for designing and implementing quality professional learning. Lead and the design of systems for awarding OnRamps Instructors hours for continuing professional education.
  • Develops and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders by providing exceptional customer service, professional communication, technical support, and problem-solving with professionalism, positivity, tact and decorum. Leads external communication about OnRamps professional learning in alignment and collaboration with OnRamps branding and communication standards.
  • Applies standard evaluation procedures to analyze data and monitor, evaluate, and document program outcomes through recurring issue tracking and reporting. Utilizes data to apply principle of continuous improvement to OnRamps Instructor experience, and special projects.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field
  • Five or more years experience in K-12 Education
  • Experience coordinating professional learning events from planning to facilitation.
  • Proficient in Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) or another LMS
  • Experience managing projects from beginning to end.
  • Attention to detail using using spreadsheets and formulas (such as Excel and Smartsheet) to track work with accuracy
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills, customer service skills, with the ability to engage multiple internal and external stakeholders with decorum and tact.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in education or related field
  • Experience leading professional learning events from planning to facilitation.
  • Experience using and analyzing data to inform stakeholder needs
  • Proficient in Smartsheet or other Project Management system.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to lay audiences using a respectful, client-focused approach.
  • Experience with virtual or distance learning
  • Experience with instructional design
  • Experience collaborating with subject-matter expert
Salary Range

$80,000 + depending on qualifications

Working Conditions
  • Requires intermittent travel and work on evenings and weekends, especially during critical time periods - including professional learning institutes, Fall, Spring, and summer enrollment periods, and legislative sessions. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
