Overview:

As aProject Engineer, you will manage projects involving cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a product through the design process and into a finished state for external customers. You will monitor the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customers on technical matters. You will organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the product/program/project on schedule and within budget constraints. This position is in a matrix type of organization, where the position does not have responsibility for product development but does have overall product/program/project management responsibility.

Responsibilities:




  • Acts as a collaborative partner with Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Field Service, and Operations team toalign and deliver products on time.
  • Create and update detailed Gantt charts
  • Identify and mitigate risk factors in engineering, operations, and manufacturing that may impact the achievement of on-time System/Tool delivery
  • Direct and coordinate all activities necessary to complete assigned projectson time
  • Interface with customers and provide status updates
  • Act as the focal point for Marketing on project-related issues
  • Prepare group work assignments and monitor progress
  • Manage various project deliverables which will include system design,bothElectrical and Mechanical
  • Provide weekly status toOperationsManagement
  • Drive process improvement, report execution against detailed plans,andensure timely completion of objectives
  • Conduct weekly ECO (Engineering Change Order) review with Contract Manufacturers for new and sustaining projects and provide an action plan to implement and cut-in



Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline is required. At least5years ofmanufacturingexperience is required. An equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Bi-lingual ability in Chinese or Japanese Preferred
  • Proven ability to manage projects or programs
  • Experience inMS Project, AutoCAD and Solidworks preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Solid knowledge in the Program Management process, Program Management accreditation a plus
  • Previous large-scale high-tech equipment experience preferred
  • Process development and improvement in a team environment


Salary and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $93,097 - $117,922, plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors when determining your pay.
