Box Scan & Putaway - NCDC (Days)

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

Job Description:

• Receive and palletize cases by stacking off conveyor system, sorting by product code, pre-price and master order number.
• Using pallet jack/forklift-move pallets to production receiver.
• Scan cases into inventory.
• Using pallet jack/forklift put cases away as scan gun & floor plan dictate, verifying price point & product code on case and label and quantity w/scanner.
• Load trailers using load sheet to move appropriate pallets on to trailers verifying case count and correct production scan gun.
• Complete load summary sheet and submit to Supervisor for trailer release.
• Other duties as assigned including cleaning work area.

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift/pallet jack license.
• Able to read write instructions in English, communicate with other DC employees.
• Able to work in cold environment (0-40 degrees), stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, lift up to 80lbs. on a routine basis, meet pick standard requirements.
• Able to successfully operate and care for a scan gun.
• Able to perform all job functions in a safe manner.
• Must be able to submit to and pass criminal background.
