About the Role:

Our Customer Experience team is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer. In this role, you will serve as a customerfacing technical expert responsible for planning, deploying, and optimizing the Dragos Platform within the customer's industrial environment. You will work handson at customer facilities such as power plants, substations, manufacturing floors and refineries to install the platform, tune it to their operational needs, and ensure reliable security coverage across their ICS/OT systems. Serving as a trusted technical partner, you'll guide customers through deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform adoption, enabling them to strengthen and sustain the security of their critical infrastructure. This role is open to candiadtes in the PST and MST time zones.

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Solution Architects, and client teams to understand customer use cases, success criteria, and platform objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute sensor deployments, including network architecture guidance, sensor placement, integrations, and ongoing configuration changes (eg, upgrades, patches).
  • Tune, optimize, and continuously monitor the Dragos Platform to ensure health, availability, and alignment with defined customer goals.
  • Develop and refine content and workflows based on customer use cases, value drivers, and Dragos platform capabilities.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting, break/fix support, and escalation management to resolve platform issues quickly and effectively.
  • Deliver training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to empower stakeholders and ensure they can operate the platform successfully.
  • Maintain strong customer engagement, including feature walkthroughs, roadmap communication, gathering feedback, identifying improvement opportunities, and recognizing where additional Dragos products or services may add value.

Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of ICS/OT Cybersecurity experience.
  • Networking experience including strong knowledge of IP networks, OSI model, Purdue model, and ICS protocols.
  • Experience with Linux (command line), Docker, scripting languages (python, shell, etc.), SIEMs, and ELK stack.
  • Experience with on-premise solutions.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.
  • Customer-oriented and attentive to client needs, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with NERC-CIP is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
