This position is based in Hillcrest and requires going to La Jolla and/or East Campus as needed. Reporting to the Director of Experience Operations, the Interpreter Services Manager oversees daily operations of the Department of Interpreter Services. This position is responsible for ensuring superior language access services are available for UC San Diego Health's Limited English Proficient (LEP) patient population. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as adherence to the Joint Commission standards. This position is a critical part of the Office of Experience team, role modeling behavior and acting with a high level of professionalism. Key responsibilities include:
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $71,600 - $127,400 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $34.29 - $61.02 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
