Job Title: Practice Coordinator Location(s): San Mateo, CA Position Summary The Practice Coordinator II provides front-desk and administrative support in a high-volume outpatient clinic environment. This role is patient-facing and critical to ensuring smooth clinic operations, excellent customer service, and efficient patient flow. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate clinic visits.
- Place reminder calls to patients regarding upcoming appointments.
- Perform administrative tasks including printing, faxing, and document handling.
- Support daily clinic operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist with problem resolution related to scheduling, patient flow, or front-desk concern
Clinic Volume
- Approximately 80-100 patients and/or calls per day
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume clinic setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- APeX (Epic) experience strongly preferred
- Candidates without APeX experience will be considered; however, training capacity is limited
Additional Information
- No specific years of experience required.
- Candidate will remain at the same campus for the duration of the assignment.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day Shift, 5x8).
