Position: Administrative Coordinator III
Location: Raliegh, NC
Pay: $25.87
Shift: 8:00am -5:00pm

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Performing all administrative functions, developing spreadsheets and performing data analysis with limited supervision.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Efficient performance of all scale house operations.
  • Schedule loads for shipment.
  • Weighs all incoming recyclable materials.
  • Calculates weights and makes cash payment purchases of both loose and baled recyclables.
  • Balance cash and weights daily and follow proper procedures for reporting to the Office Manager.
  • Maintains good working relations with customers and waste suppliers.
  • Assists with daily/weekly/month-end reporting.
  • Performs office clerical assignments, ensuring that all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that required files are adequately maintained. This will include Human Resources and DOT files for each employee.
  • Maintains accurate Commercial Driving records, time logs, mileage, fuel, etc. as required.
  • Working knowledge of accounting basic practices.
  • Responsible for compiling all month-end inventory and accounting reports as required by Corporate Accounting.
  • Processes payroll for all hourly employees as well as temporary labor employees onsite.
  • Reconciles all temp labor hours to verify accurate billing
  • Maintains logs for vacation and attendance records
  • Assists the Plant Manager with Terminations and/or Benefits Administration, etc. as needed
  • Responsible for the selection, purchase, and maintenance of all office equipment and supplies
  • Maintains all Corporate and Plant policy manuals, ensuring that there is a uniform application and interpretation of policies and procedures as they pertain to the administration and accounting functions.
  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing information as needed for special projects
  • Protects assets, confidential and restricted information, developments, specifications, materials, legal obligations, and other such data in contact with competitors, vendors, and others.
  • Performs other similar duties as assigned.

We'd Love to Hear from You If:

  • Performs basic office functions - answering telephone calls, data entry, scale operation
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge of accounting practices - possess the ability to learn accounting software Ariba/Oracle.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office - specifically Word and excel.
  • Working knowledge of payroll functions and ability to process payroll
  • Customer Service - the ability to interact with customers daily to assist with their accounts, payments, and/or any issues that may arise.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
