IT Intern (Application Development & Website Design)

Responsibilities:

• The IT intern will be asked to participate in projects from inception to production deployment
• Assist the Application Development team in various activities, including adoption of AppOps and DevSecOps, implementation of continuous delivery pipelines, automation of job functions, and creation of information management dashboards
• Participate in team activities, including status meetings, design sessions, product demos, and code reviews
• Engage in all aspects of the software delivery lifecycle
• Provide and share weekly status updates

Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required
• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information System, or related field
• Experience with one or more of the following: User Interface (UI), Git, Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS or related programming language
• Familiarity with data store, infrastructure, software delivery lifecycle, and cloud components
• Soft Skills include: Analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong verbal and written communications; Willing to learn and be self-motivated

Location: 3 Penn Plaza Newark NJ - Hybrid Work Schedule

Schedule: 8am-5pm (9 hour work day with lunch)

Duration: 11 week Summer Internship Program (June 1, 2026 - August 13, 2026)
