YOUR OPPORTUNITY


We have an exciting Reclaim Supervisor opportunity. In this highly impactful role, you will be responsible for overseeing company mortality removal from farm sites, route scheduling, reclaim facility operations and safety, allocation of product to outside vendors as needed. Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal DOT and OSHA regulations, state applicable laws, and Seaboard Foods policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


This list is not intended to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.




  • Coordinate with market haul manager, vet services and farms to determine, schedule, and pickup mortality from farm sites.
  • Review bio-security positioning list daily to establish proper order of sites on routes for all mortality pickup.
  • Perform audits on transportation equipment and driver performance. Maintain and track preventative maintenance schedule and coordinate movement of equipment in the department. Scheduling, tracking and auditing of equipment and facility maintenance
  • Ensure compliance of DOT and OSHA regulations, company and biosecurity policies, and proper facility operations. Administers and recommends training when appropriate.
  • Coordinate daily contact carrier schedules to outside vendors.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required or preferred. Required:



  • High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years' experience in transportation management or related field.
  • Basic computer and Microsoft excel experience.
  • Mechanical/Machinery experience in maintenance and preventative maintenance and tracking.
  • A clear and valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR).


Preferred:



  • Class A CDL.
  • Bilingual, Spanish and English



SCHEDULE



  • This is primarily a day shift position but may also require after-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts occasionally exposed to airborne particles and gases at low concentrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to waste material, feed and hog dust.
