Training and Development Specialist
Location: REMOTE

(applicants must live in GA, FL, AL, MS, SC or TN)
Hourly Compensation: $21 - $23 DOE

Work Schedule: Mo-Fr, Full-Time

The Revenue Cycle Training and Development Specialist supports the Revenue Cycle team by delivering expert training, auditing, and feedback on revenue cycle processes such as coding and billing. Responsibilities include onboarding new staff, offering refresher or remedial training, collaborating with Quality Assurance to address errors, and recommending improvements.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain strong working relationships and clear communication.
* Deliver training for new hires and refreshers for current staff.
* Update and manage online training tools.
* Track and monitor training initiatives.
* Train staff via Microsoft Teams.
* Analyze reports to spot trends requiring refresher training.
* Perform quality assurance to identify training gaps.

Qualifications

Education & Industry Experience:
* High School diploma or GED required

Required Experience:
* Strong proficiency with computer applications and software, especially Microsoft Office programs such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel
* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
* Knowledge of correct grammar and punctuation when drafting written documents
* Experience interacting with the public

Preferred Experience:
* Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines pertaining to ambulance billing
* Familiarity with HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and other key federal regulations regarding healthcare
* Development of training materials and facilitating sessions for others
* At least one year of medical billing experience, ideally in EMS
