Job Description The Vertex Biology team in San Diegoseeks a strategic andinnovativescientificand peopleleader to help advance therapies for serious diseases. Based on-site at ourcutting-edgeSan Diego research facility, this high-impact role will develop and implement strategies toidentifynovel therapeutic approaches for areas of significant unmet medical need, guiding projects from conceptthroughproof of concept, whilecollaboratingclosely with global research teams. By focusing on validated targets, creating predictive lab assays, and identifying clinical biomarkers, we pursue therapeutic approaches that we believe are most likely to succeed. #LI-KM1 #LI-Onsite Pay Range: $217,000 - $325,400Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
