Lubbock Associate Director, Executive Communications 43664BR Marketing and Communications Position Description Performs administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and program. Under general supervision, performs varied and complex administrative duties requiring independent judgment and the application of established policies and procedures. May provide supervision and direction to clerical, paraprofessional or professional staff members. Major/Essential Functions The Associate Director for Executive Communications plays a critical role in supporting university leadership through the development of high-impact written and digital communications. This position partners closely with senior leaders and colleagues across Marketing & Communications to craft talking points, speeches, executive messages, digital content and briefing materials that advance Texas Tech University's strategic priorities. The role contributes to communication strategy, ensures message alignment and consistency, and translates complex issues into clear, compelling narratives for internal and external audiences.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Four years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Preferred Qualifications
