Position Information

Venable LLP's Technology & Innovation Group, Venable Blue Team, seeks a Project & Process Specialist who resides in the New York or Washington, D.C. regions. This is a non-attorney position.


The Project & Process Specialist will be responsible for continuous improvement and project management initiatives. This role will support cross-department collaboration by managing process workflow and systems improvement projects. The work of the Project & Process Specialist will be fast-paced, dynamic, and impactful.


Key Responsibilities Include:



  • Drives cross-functional coordination and operational tasks designed to achieve program objectives and support related activities and processes.
  • Supports people, process, and tooling programs, implementing user feedback.
  • Reviews task queues and tracking assignments across teams to make sure projects are completed.


Qualifications:



  • B.A. or B.S. degree required; Master's degree (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within process operations & improvements, project management, metrics reporting, analytics, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace required.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Excel Certified preferred.
  • Six Sigma Certification (minimum Yellow Belt) and/or Certificate in Editing preferred.

The anticipated base salary for Project & Process Specialist is $80,000 - $105,000 per year. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of job related factors including, but not limited to, years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certifications, responsibilities and performance. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses and overtime, if eligible. Overtime wages earned will be paid in compliance with applicable law.
