The SLA Analysis Group provides objective analyses, plans, and strategies to clients across the US Navy (air, surface, undersea), US Marine Corps, US Air Force, Australian Defence, and DARPA clients to support acquisition, delivery, and sustainment decisions. Embedded within the group lies the core SPA thought leadership on Undersea Strategy, Software Development, and Cost Estimating with additional benchmark capabilities in AI/ML & Decision Analytics, Modeling and Simulation, and Future Force Assessments. The group leverages a range of advanced analytic capabilities including modeling, simulation, and wargame development while maintaining a highly experienced bench of Military Operations and technical analysts.

SPA has an immediate need for a Configuration and Data Management Analyst to support our program office client at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.#FC #Dice


Responsibilities

Assist in implementing government and DoD-adopted industry CM/DM policies to accomplish the following against performance, functional and physical baselines over the weapon systems life cycle: Requirements management, Change management, Deficiency reporting, Production and delivery, and Data management.

Under the supervision and guidance of the Configuration Manager:

  • Assist managing program documentation, program records, program history, meeting minutes and action items, proposals, deviations, and waivers.
  • Assist preparing for and executing program technical reviews and functional and physical configuration audits.
  • Assist organizing and operating Configuration Control Boards and Business Management Boards or their equivalents.
  • Assist with configuration status accounting databases contractor data substantiation.
  • Assist preparing, reviewing, and obtaining approval of contract data requirement lists and requests for nomenclature and Computer Program Identification Numbers.
  • Support planning, execution, and participate in program design reviews, technical meetings, and working groups as applicable to provide configuration management perspectives and resolve any configuration management issues.
  • Support the analyses of the impacts of the configuration management change process on lifecycle sustainment.
  • Participate on government and industry teams to resolve program configuration management issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of configuration management or data management experience in government or private industry
  • Bachelor's degree desired
  • Experience assisting journeyman or senior positions, and performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions
  • TS/SCI clearance
