Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access and visitor control as needed. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and provide customer-focused assistance to team members and guests. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, assisting with sign-in processes, directing deliveries to appropriate receiving areas, and reporting access concerns to site management.
  • Complete routine security-related reporting, including shift logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and promptly report hazards, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious conditions observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security experience.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
