Job Description




As a Security Officer - Vehicle Driver in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post and requires a valid drivers license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to client employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site management and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, data and equipment rooms as permitted, parking areas, loading docks, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and electronic access control when assigned, and report irregular conditions per site procedures.
  • Complete timely documentation including incident reports, shift activity logs, and pass-downs, and communicate observations and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions
