CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking Early Career Mechanical Engineers to join our growing Mechanical Engineering teams. In this role, you'll work alongside Professional Engineers and multidisciplinary teams to support the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects across a variety of markets-while gaining hands-on experience and building a strong foundation for your career.



What You'll Do:

    Collaborate with project teams on mechanical engineering design development and implementation
  • Perform technical analysis and support diverse systems, new designs, and updates to existing schemes
  • Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, supporting client, contract, and company requirements
  • Help identify timely, cost-effective solutions that meet project goals and community needs
  • Support technology-enhanced planning and design services across public, private, and institutional projects


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
  • No prior engineering experience required; internships or cooperative learning through civil/site design, transportation design, construction, surveying, material testing, or other related field of civil engineering preferred
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, or other drafting/modeling software preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
  • A collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, and passion for improving the world through great work

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $80,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
