At phia we hire talented and passionate people who are focused on collaborative, meaningful work, providing technical and operational subject matter expertise and support services to our partners and clients. phia is seeking a Senior Full Stack Integration Engineer to serve as a designated Key Personnel expert for a federal agency. This high-impact role requires a "T-shaped" technical lead: someone with deep backend mastery in Java/Spring, frontend proficiency in React, and the architectural chops to manage complex middleware and messaging systems. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of production-grade, cloud-native microservices, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and integrated into a modern container environment.

  • Automated DevSecOps: Build and enforce fully automated CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) incorporating automated security scanning and dependency vulnerability management.
  • Data & Performance: Optimize data persistence across Oracle Exadata, PostgreSQL, and IBM Db2, utilizing Red Hat Data Grid (Infinispan) for distributed caching.
  • Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, and Splunk.

Who You Are

  • A Technical SME: You possess a rare blend of "Full Stack" coding ability and "System Architect" vision.
  • A Security-First Developer: You don't just write code; you secure it using OAuth 2.0,OpenID Connect, and TLS standards.
  • An Integration Specialist: You are comfortable bridging legacy systems with modern cloud-native microservices.

Required Education + Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of IT experience with proven expertise in backend Java/Spring and frontend React.
  • Key Technical Stack:

  • Frontend: ReactJS.
  • Messaging: AMQP, JMS, Kafka, IBM MQ.
  • Clearance: Public Trust / Suitability.

GENERAL PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
