Vaco is seeking a Reconstruction Project Manager to oversee restoration and reconstruction projects related to fire, water damage, and property updates. This role will manage projects ranging from $15K to $1M, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for someone with strong construction project management experience who enjoys working closely with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders while helping people recover and rebuild after property damage. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed project plans, including budget, schedule, and quality control measures Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to define project scope and goals Conduct site visits to assess progress, safety, and work quality Manage project risks, including scope, budget, and schedule changes Track and forecast project expenses and budgets, making adjustments when needed Ensure all work complies with building codes, regulations, and industry standards Coordinate project teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget Provide weekly project updates to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams Communicate with subcontractors to ensure alignment and timely completion of work Required Skills & Experience Construction Project Management experience required Strong organizational and project coordination skills Ability to communicate effectively in person, via email, and over the phone Comfortable presenting and communicating with stakeholders at all levels Ability to balance compassion with direct communication when managing difficult situations Experience with construction-related software Education College degree required Background in construction project management Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
