An innovative leader in the electric vehicle space is seeking a Technical Project Manager - Automotive Durability to oversee and coordinate critical vehicle testing programs, durability schedules, and cross-functional project execution. This role is essential in ensuring testing milestones are met, risks are managed, and engineering teams stay aligned throughout the product development lifecycle.

Hours and Pay



  • Pay Rate: $52.00 - $58.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Work Environment: 100% onsite

Daily Responsibilities



  • Own and manage the durability testing schedule for vehicle programs
  • Coordinate durability testing requirements across engineering, operations, and external partners
  • Secure test facilities and manage logistics for on-site and off-site vehicle testing activities
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers executing durability tests
  • Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure efficient workflow and project alignment
  • Maintain and update daily vehicle tracking matrices and provide weekly progress reports
  • Identify and communicate risks, delays, and critical milestones to stakeholders
  • Support Design Verification Plan (DVP) tracking and reporting for component and subsystem durability testing
  • Drive process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and program execution



Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent automotive industry experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in automotive project management, durability testing, or vehicle validation
  • Strong understanding of automotive testing processes and durability standards
  • Experience developing and managing project schedules for large-scale programs
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion
  • Experience establishing and improving processes and workflows


Preferred Qualifications



  • MBA or professional certification in Project or Program Management
  • Experience supporting electric vehicle testing programs or related industries
