Follett Higher Education is a leading educational service provider and omnichannel retailer, providing students, faculty, staff, parents, and fans with the course materials, learning tools, and retail services needed to successfully support the collegiate journey. Follett Higher Education supports over 6 million students through its 1,100 physical and 1,750 eCommerce campus stores across North America.

The Marketing and Business Development Coordinator will provide support to the marketing, business development, and renewal teams by assisting in the creation of materials that support prospecting and partner retention efforts. This entry-level role is responsible for supporting Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, assisting with PowerPoint presentation design, and helping maintain marketing assets for use across sales and renewal initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, highly organized individual who is eager to grow their writing, RFP, and project coordination skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of baseline RFP responses by compiling existing content, gathering input from internal stakeholders, routing key documents to SMEs, and formatting responses to align with brand and compliance standards.
  • Assist with the design and formatting of PowerPoint presentations for business development and renewal meetings, including updating slides, creating basic charts and visuals, and ensuring brand consistency.
  • Maintain and organize a centralized proposal and RFP content library, ensuring materials are easy to access, up to date, and properly version-controlled.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for marketing and new business teams, including shipping proposals, managing document formatting, organizing shared folders, auditing contacts, and more.
  • Support marketing and sales event execution, including assisting with Customer Advisory Boards, preparing materials for prospecting conferences, and coordinating logistics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of Marketing, Communications, Education, and Administrative Experience.
